Kasteel Groeneveld – Buitenplaats voor mens en natuur - Kasteelgroeneveld.nl
Kasteel Groeneveld is één van de vele monumenten die Staatsbosbeheer in eigendom heeft. Het kasteel dateert uit begin 18e eeuw en is in 2012 gerenoveerd. Het historische karakter is behouden en de zalen zijn van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Kasteel Groeneveld organiseert en ontwikkelt tentoonstellingen, kinderactiviteiten en evenementen waarbij bezoekers geprikkeld worden anders naar de natuur en omgeving te kijken.
Het landgoed wordt beheerd zoals in vroeger tijden maar is gegoten in een modern jasje; gasten genieten van de omgeving, de tentoonstellingen en concerten in en om het kasteel.
Kasteel Groeneveld is di t/m zo van 11.00-17.00 uur geopend.
Voor groepen en evenementen gelden afwijkende tijden.
Kasteel Groeneveld zoekt vrijwilligers die schoolklassen begeleiden. Daarnaast helpt u met het ontwikkelen en uitdenken van verschillende educatieve programma’s voor klassen. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to walk with kids and dog. Little petting zoo and well stocked farm shop just a short walk away (with seasonal treats like gluhwein and olliebollen) make it somewhere to spend a few hours without getting bored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a dog that is a West Highland White Terrier. We belong to a club which have an interest in this dog type. Anyway, this club organised a walk at this place and it was great. We got to meet many people that had this dog type and were able to walk without the leash.
The grounds have different routes that you could walk, with or without your dog.
The place has it's own restaurant and car park. Definitely a great place to go if you want to be outdoors for fresh air.
