 The old village is wonderful to see. Reserve a ginkie tour. Can be booked in the old town hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke boetiekjes en alles wat je verder nodig hebt in een winkelcentrum. Parkeren op de haven is aan te bevelen. Dat is wat lastig.
Nice boutiques and everything else you need in a shopping center. Parking on the harbor is recommended. That's a bit tricky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gezellig authentiek centrum van voormalig vissersdorp. Parkeren kan op het grote open terrein op de haven vanwaar u zo de oude straatjes binnen wandelt. Mooie winkeltjes en prachtige monumenten wisselen elkaar af
Cozy authentic center of former fishing village. Parking is possible on the large open area on the harbor from where you can walk into the old streets. Beautiful shops and beautiful monuments alternate

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een kuier (wandeling ) over de haven, een ginkies (stegen) tocht. Oud urk laat het verleden zien in de tijd van nu. Mooie oude panden en kleine huisjes ergens tussen gepropt.
A stroll (walk) on the harbor, a ginkies (alley) trip. Oud urk shows the past in the present time. Beautiful old buildings and small houses crammed somewhere in between.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik wandel graag langs de bootjes. En het is er natuurlijk een paradijs voor een pescetariër (iemand die geen vlees maar wel vis eet)
I like to walk along the boats. And it is of course a paradise for a pescetarian (someone who does not eat meat but does eat fish)
