★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area is very Nice and quiet. It's a must seen if you're in the neighbourhood! You can hike/bike for hours or have na Nice picknick. We are also close to belgium. You an see a castle or of you're Lucky an owl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are a group of 4 who visit Maastricht every year for a long weekend and the Andre Rieu Concerts. We dropped upon this place a couple of years ago by chance and were wowed by the hospitality shown to us by the owner and the staff. They were so friendly and helpful and talked to us about the quarry and the future development. This year we took our Dutch friends who visit Maastricht regularly and never knew the place existed. They loved it as well. The beer is excellent with a good price and selection. We love sitting outside just looking across the quarry and listening to the silence of Nature with a nice cold beer or two.
My only thing is they need to keep their internet sites updated with the correct days and times of opening as we nearly never went this year as the internet said it was closed. But we arrived and it was open so we were happy. Fantastic place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled across this place at dusk on a cold Saturday afternoon in December after a full day out exploring with our bikes.
With a friendly welcome, a cozy wood burning stove and a fine selection of delicious beers we left sufficiently fortified for our return to Maastricht via another climb up St. Petersburg this time in the dark.
Looking forward to returning in the summer!
