★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scenic location in the old city wall, bordering on the central park, ideal location for parties and festivities of all sorts. I enjoy the Salsa evenings here on Tuesdays and the occasional Craft Beer festival or pig roast. The one down side is that the inside areas are way to damp/hot for my taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ D'r Hiemel is one of my favourite places to party in Maastricht on weekends! Classic rock and soul music in a good mix and the style is old vine barrels to sit in. The pub is part of the old town walls from the middle ages. Very friendly people serving a great variety of beers. During the week a very good café and outdoor location. Simply nice place to be!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laid-back atmosphere at this bar little bit outside the main shopping area. Went here to chill out and sit in the sun for a bit while drinking some nice beers. The waiter is quite knowledgeable about different beers beers. Good spot to hang for a bit during warm summer nights before heading out to dinner.
