N	Nathalie Simons on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk vers gemaakt! Rijst is luchtig, je kunt vaak kiezen uit saffraan of dille, beide heerlijk. Wij zijn fan van de kip, lam ( vaak dagschotel) en aubergine gerecht. Delicious freshly made! Rice is airy, you can often choose from saffron or dill, both delicious. We are fans of the chicken, lamb (often daily special) and aubergine dish.

Si je fais cet avis aujourd'hui, vous devinerez probablement où nous avons atterri ! Chef Abbas est un restaurant iranien d'une très grande qualité à l'ambiance intimiste. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais ou français (uniquement néerlandais) mais l'accueil n'en est pas moins chaleureux. Nous avons eu la chance de bénéficier d'une traduction en anglais par le biais des deux couples assis aux autres tables. Abbas a fui l'Iran pour les Pays-Bas en 1990 et a ouvert son restaurant à cette époque. Amoureux de cuisine, il nous a proposé de goûter deux de ses entrées, quatre de ses plats et trois de ses riz. Absolument TOUT était délicieux. Les portions étaient généreuses et les saveurs puissantes. Abbas est un grand chef, incontestablement ! Notre expérience là-bas a été extrêmement positive. Et si jamais un jour je suis de nouveau de passage dans la région, je ne manquerai pas de m'y arrêter de nouveau ! Merci à Abbas et toute son équipe pour l'accueil et au plaisir de se recroiser un jour ! Passing through the region on a trip between Brussels and Amsterdam, we decided (with two friends) to take the first motorway exit and then the first restaurant we come across at dinner time... If I do this review today, you'll probably guess where we landed! Chef Abbas is a very high quality Iranian restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. The staff does not speak English or French (only Dutch) but the welcome is no less warm. We were lucky enough to have English translation through the two couples seated at the other tables. Abbas fled Iran for the Netherlands in 1990 and opened his restaurant around this time. A cooking lover, he offered us to taste two of his starters, four of his dishes and three of his rices. Absolutely EVERYTHING was delicious. The portions were generous and the flavors powerful. Abbas is a great leader, unquestionably! Our experience there was extremely positive. And if ever one day I am passing through the region again, I will not fail to stop there again! Thanks to Abbas and his whole team for the welcome and the pleasure of meeting again one day!

We really enjoyed our time at Chef Abbas’ restaurant— wonderful attention to detail and service, orchestrated by a very kind and attentive chef. We are thrilled to have stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant during our first time in Gorinchem, looking forward to going back to Chef Abbas’ again soon.
