β β β β β We have been here at the end of September and there was too cold in the room. Because hitting system only work when you enable fan. And fan hangs right over bedβ¦ Also room was dirty when we just moved. We heard about problems with drier, which accidentally drop and request more money. So not pleasure experience. City den garden much better

β β β β β I am living here as relocation. Biggest problem with this hotel is housekeeping. Pathetic is the word and I am being polite.
If you had any standards this isn't place. They clean only every 4 days, with family n small rooms that's way too much late. Now reception is with bad attitude as they are managing some super important hotel. Avoid if you have family and expecting any hospitality.

β β β β β Its an apart hotel concept created by real estate pros instead of hospitality experts. Concept good, execution not so much. Nicely designed rooms but with (IKEA?) furniture not suitable for heavy use. Bright colors are cute but show stains immediately. It all looks still ok but Iβm curious how it will look like after a yearβ¦
Friendly staff, spacious rooms and free street parking. Area great for running not so much for entertainment but a quick 20min bike ride sees you in the center of Amsterdam.
During my stay there was a strong and unpleasant kitchen smell in the hallways on the 6th floor probably due to the restaurant/ lounge on the sand floor. No issue when in the rooms.
The washing / dryer machines on each floor are a nice service but during my stay most were not working (the machines are domestic use models and obvious canβt handle the heavy usage). I ended up using the staffβs machine so all good in the end.
All in all, I Itβs a nice place but not as nice as the Adagio apartment hotel next door. Thatβs around 30% more expensive but worth it.

β β β β β My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Cityden! We had a couple minor issues when we checked in and were moved to another room right away.
The staff was outstanding. They were helpful and very friendly without being intrusive. If we needed something for our room it was taken care of immediately.
The room was clean and everything worked. The beds were not the most comfortable but were adequate. The bar/restaurant on the top floor great, with good food and a comfortable lounge.
The Cityden is one block from the easy tram ride to downtown Amsterdam. There is also easy access to the many local bike paths (of course).

β β β β β Hotel is fine, but cleaning service is awful: instead of promised 2 times per week service you can count on 1 cleaning per 7-10 days. The reception politely and repeatedly tells you the same things like: we will include you in the cleaning list for tomorrow. And nothing happens tomorrow. The quality of the service is also not acceptable - be ready clean up the bread crumbs and wash the dishes afterwords. I got nothing as a compliment, just words of apologize. To sum up: definitely not recommended for long stays.

β β β β β Very helpful apart-Hotel during lockdown in Amsterdam. Donβt forget that cityden should be considered as a chain Hotel. It means that rooms are demanded and some problems could arise. During our first day we found that our bed is broken thatβs why we got free upgrade ( thanks for that). Cleaning will be every 3 nights, so be ready for that. You only can ask for new towels. During lockdown sauna, gym and restaurant were closed, but you can use it better times. Overall itβs good price especially for kitchen option, supermarket is 8 min by walk.

β β β β β Our stay was amazing. The staff were very helpful and really kind. The airport is only about a 15 min drive but the taxi outside the airport were quite expensive so we booked an Uber for a lot less. Booking in couldn't have been easier and really handy they had bag storage, when we checked out, as we had a few ours till our flight. The kitchen is well equipped but unfortunately no oven, just a microwave oven. Some of the plates were a little dirty so would advise to wash everything before use. The sofa bed isn't the comfiest but the beds were lovely. The tram was only a 5-10 min walk, we then caught the 5 into the centre which only took about 10-15 mins.
