The hotel is super nice and the higher you go up the better the view. The room is super clean and and the bathroom is spacious. The staff are friendly and any question you have - you are being looked after. Sure it’s Not in the City Center but it’s accessible by tram :-) Had a great stay here and would recommend it again!

Very poor management.. Check in time as usual is 15:00, but we didn’t get our pre-booked room before 15:45. Few more people had the same experience along with us. That too I had to follow up continuously with their 3 different staff members(because after giving some excuse, they were disappearing). Reason for delay was given as some failure with their system and other was that their new cleaning staff doesn’t know how to work with the system(contradictory excuses, clearly shows how well trained they are! ?). It is like if I did not bug them several times, I wouldn’t have got the room - that pathetic. They claim they clean the room, but they don’t! Staff at reception won’t make you feel welcome - hotel with no hospitality! By adding 10-15€, you will get a way decent place. Avoid this!

We stayed here for two nights , booked at the last moment and checked in at 12 midnight. On request we got a queen bed room on 10th floor . The stay was good enough . Did not try the breakfast which costs 8.5€ per person. It covered the basics, bread with ham and cheese, boiled egg , cereal and coffee . Since it had Very limited choice, we decided to explore the Albert cuyp market which is a single tram ride . The tram station is barely a 3 min walk from the hotel. So transportation is pretty convenient. There is a coffee machine and some to go food and beverages on sale next to the reception, pretty decent collection for some quick bites.

Bad : Every thing was nice but there was no room cleaning service provided to us. We stayed 3 nights there and daily after reaching the room, we found room was not cleaned at all. Also there were no bottles of shower gels in the bathroom. They provide small tubes of gels which is not satisfying at all while using it, as there were no space in bathroom to place it. Good : Price economical, tram station few steps ahead, coffee machine(paid) and oven inside the hotel, big sitting area where we can have outside food with drinks, no disturbance.

Considering the great location and good price a give 3 stars. The bed was lacking a matras that is more than 2cm thick. Room was quite small what together with the window that wasn't able to be opened, gave me a trapped feeling.

Ibis is a budget hotel, so you don't get much. But what you do get is good. Basic room includes 2 comfortable beds (placed at a right angle to each other) night lights built into the headboard, a plastic stool, and table. I don't remember if there was a TV. The bathroom has a toilet sink and showerstall. They provide towels, soap and body wash. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

It was better than expected! The room is rather small, the bathroom is a nice size (not cramped at all) and everything is new and clean. We stayed at the last floor and the view was beautiful. The beds are comfy, outlets are next to the bed and there is a tv in the room. Location wise, you’re about 15-20 minutes away by tram from the city centre, I think it’s reasonable considering the size of Amsterdam and the price of the hotel. It’s close to the south train station and that was really helpful as we also explored surrounding cities. You can pay for an all-you-can-eat breakfast (8.5€/person) or other beverages and snacks are available. The hotel has lounging areas in the reception and also a game room. The only cons we could find were the lack of a closet or storage in the room and no soap rack in the shower cabin. Otherwise, everything was as expected or even better.

We stayed for almost 40 nights in this hotel. The personnels are caring and always available. We stayed at the 11th floor, the view was amazing. The room was pretty small for a long stay but details were great. High quality material, good shower, calming lighting, and a small fridge (50ish €) as you wish. I really liked the lighting over the bed, the design was very practical. The problem was we could not open the windows, it wasn't any openings... But the air conditioning was good, a little bit dry for my skin though. Tuesday is for changing sheets and Friday for cleaning, if you're staying long. Lobby was cute and welcoming, I was really relaxed and felt like home in this hotel. It's near the tram station and you can get to central station within 32 minutes.
