The Academy is a great way to get into the wonderful world of technology. With their Code and Design Academies they basically make it possible for everyone to become a techie.

The learning curve is specified to your own needs after the first weeks. Open 24/7. Oh and free coffee if you're interested in that. Please be aware that for the money you pay for this course, you can also find a personal teacher (probably for less of the money). So keep that in consideration if you don't have a large budget.

This morning I just got an offer from my dream job working as a front-end developer. The three-month bootcamp was super intense, which pushed me so far that I had to study on the weekends to catch up. I have never worked this hard in my life and it was totally worth it. I definitely came through as a more hardworking person, passionate about what I do. I can say the same for my classmate who are equally diligent if not more. Shout out to the best class ever #class32

What I learned once attending was that the pressures of this model (students paying an 800 euro admission fee, future employers then paying for the bulk of the education costs, 10,000 euro) incentivise cutting their losses throughout the program: kicking students out rather than supporting them. At the end of the day, the posture seems to be: you are a product not a student.
