De droom van CORPUS
Wat begon met een idee van Henri Remmers, bedenker en grondlegger van CORPUS 'reis door de mens', resulteerde op 14 maart 2008 in de opening van CORPUS. Na ruim 14 jaar is CORPUS nog steeds een uniek concept in de wereld. CORPUS wil haar bezoekers aanzetten tot beweging, motiveren om verantwoord te eten en inspireren om gezond te leven. We willen jong en oud de wonderen van het menselijk lichaam laten ontdekken en bewust maken van het feit dat iedereen in de basis hetzelfde - en toch heel uniek is. CORPUS werkt nauw samen met buitenlandse partijen om de mogelijkheid tot het openen van een buitenlandse CORPUS te verkennen, zodat meer en meer mensen zich realiseren dat zij zelf een wonder zijn en het belang om goed voor zichzelf te zorgen omarmen. Een gezond(er) leven voor alle mensen over de hele wereld: dát is onze droom.

The Audio guide is perfectly outlined to captivate the litte once and informative enough to keep you interested. Certainly worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sight of the Corpus Building was quite awesome. We drove past it and then later on decided to check it out upclose. The building is really unique and the architecture is very interesting. The tall glass atrium looks amazing. Love the way the statue blends with the glass building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a fun experience aimed at educating children, well thought out, enjoyable even for adults.
The tour requires audio and you are given a headset. If you’re lucky, your head will be the perfect size for the non-adjustable behind-the-head headset, otherwise you will have them falling off your ears/head constantly and you will have to resort to holding them with your hands for almost the entire tour. It was wildly frustrating and I saw a few people in the group struggling with them as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice Museum, especially for Kids! The audio guided Tour at the beginning is just amazing. Kids will love the way they can learn basic functions of the human body. The exhibit after this is good too. Its just not so amazing in comparison to the beginning. But Kids should be more then content.
