Restaurant Crystal opened its doors in 1999 on the Leidsestraat in the heart of Amsterdam. At Crystal you can go for excellent service and of course delicious food. For a quick bite or extensive dinner, you have come to the right place at Crystal.
Crystal only serves halal dishes and has made it its specialty. Whether you come with a small group or a large group, you are always welcome. The restaurant offers 120 seats and can be rented for company outings and birthdays. The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM – 3:00 AM and on weekends from 11:00 AM – 4:00 AM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere of the restaurant is a positive one, it's well lit and the staff are very friendly and they've even got a fish tank.
The pizza that I ordered (chicken tandoori) and the chicken mix grill that my partner ordered were very tasty.
The only thing this place lacks is a card machine, the employee told me they don't accept card, but there was a card machine behind the counter which I found a bit odd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried two dishes here when I last visited this place. Had the Beef Ribs and Spaghetti Bolognese. Both dishes were well prepared and I do enjoyed it. One of an authentic Halal joint that you can find when you are in Amsterdam.

Our group of 8 persons has ordered almost different dishes: pizza al fingi, piazza pasta, grilled lamb, chicken kip, napolitan pizza...and everything is amazingly good. We were lucky to crash during rain into this place and got quite good meals with pops for about 12$ per person. I will be back if possible to try the grilled lamb....
