★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the fries with the peanut sauce mixed with the mayonnaise! It was practically am out of body experience. I would go back a thousand more times. Salty and yummy! Didn't hurt that the person making the fries was incredibly handsome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great potatoe fries and pleasant service. Somehow I never noticed this store, maybe because it's just a tad out of the routes I usualy take. Now that I've found it, I'll get my fries there more often.
They use fresh potatoes for the fries and fry them well. The takeaway boxes had a ventilation hole in the top, so the fries remain nice and crispy. Probably the best fries in Leiden...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freshly made, with the sauce in a nifty construction as to make sure they can serve the fries in the classic "puntzak" but without the eater getting dirty hands. The fries were also really crunchy with just the right amount of salt. The sauce, a truffle mayonaise, was also well made.
As they have no tables in the shop or outside, you grab your fries and walk while eating. The only thing bothering me a bit was the mention of the price won in 2015. 5 years later, I thought as I saw that and could just hope that the quality of the fries hadn't gone down and therefore they couldn't mention a more recently won award. I don't know if anything changed, but as mentioned above, the fries are still quite delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the place is specialized in the Dutch famous French fries cones and different other fried delicacies like Crockett. the potatoes are really crispy because of the double frying. there is a great choice of sauces to accompany the food and also, there is a size choice to accommodate the big and small portions eaters. the prices are a tad higher than street vendors but thanks to the quality, it is worth taking a detour.
