M	Mariska on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Werd erg onaardig te woord gestaan. Ik kwam boeken brengen maar blijkbaar wilden ze die liever niet. Was answered very unkindly. I came to bring books but apparently they didn't want them.

Beautiful bookshop with a wonderfully nostalgic atmosphere. The owner knows every book he sells and is very nice. Really my favorite book store!

Er is weinig loopruimte omdat er echt heel veel boeken te vinden zijn. Kom echter niet aanzetten met prijzen van internet, hier krijg je waar voor je geld en betaal je naar waarde. What can I say? The owner knows how to look up practically every book he has in the store from his memory. There is little walking space because there are really many books to be found. However, do not come up with prices from the internet, here you get value for money and you pay for value.
P	Pee Pastinakel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer slechte service: op Boekwinkeltjes.nl wordt boek wordt als in 'zeer goede staat' aangeprezen, terwijl het helemaal vol staat met potloodstrepen en aantekeningen. De reactie op mijn klacht was brutaal en hinderlijk sarcastisch. Ik had van te voren foto's van het boek moeten opvragen (waar dient de omschrijving dan voor?) en als ik in de buurt zou zijn kon ik langskomen met het boek zodat de verkoper er de strepen uit zou gummen. Verkoper weigert boek terug te nemen. Mijn advies: niets kopen bij De Alkenaer! Very poor service: Boekwinkeltjes.nl is referred to as 'very good condition', while it is completely full of pencil marks and notes. The response to my complaint was brutal and annoyingly sarcastic. I should have requested photos of the book in advance (what is the description for?) And if I was in the area I could come by with the book so that the seller would erase the stripes. Seller refuses to take back the book. My advice: don't buy anything from De Alkenaer!
R	Roel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Briljant hoe de eigenaar hier alles in zijn schatkamer heeft weten te archiveren. Begin zelf maar niet klakkeloos te zoeken maar vraag meteen advies en het feest kan beginnen. Overigens, als je een boek vindt dat ook de eigenaar interessant vindt dan is de kans aanwezig dat je een andere keer terug kunt komen om het aan te schaffen zodat de meneer het zelf nog even kan lezen. Prachtig, zulke mensen. Brilliant how the owner managed to archive everything here in his treasure room. Don't start looking for yourself, but ask for advice right away and the party can begin. By the way, if you find a book that the owner also finds interesting then there is a chance that you can come back another time to purchase it so that the gentleman can read it for himself. Beautiful people like that.

The man running the store is super knowledgeable, you can just ask him for certain writers or publishers and he will either find it or tell you where to find it. This place has some treasures for sure for those old school book lovers <3
