Over ons
Vanaf december 2012 is Michael Boekholt de ondernemer achter de Beurs. Sindsdien werk ik met mijn team elke dag om onze gasten te verwennen. De beurs is een koffie en lunch café met een heerlijk groot zonnig terras. Wij zijn altijd op zoek naar leuke recepten en maken zoveel mogelijk zelf. Wat we niet zelf maken proberen we te halen bij kleine zelfstandigen die onze visie delen. Daarnaast beschikken wij over een koffiebranderij en deze koffie kunt u ter plekke kopen voor zowel thuis gebruik als voor uw bedrijf of instelling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there on a regular Sunday, during the afternoon. Food was good, but the service was awful. The waitress that was responsible for our table seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. It took them forever to give us menus and also to take our order, after that it all went better. I had a tosti, which was well displayed and tasty. Coffee was also very good. The place is well decorated and cozy. Was also a bit crowded, but I suppose that's cause the were one of the few places open that day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ de Beurs is a charming cafe in the old center of Schiedam. It is cozy and light inside, and the views of the canal and old town are great.
When the weather is nice, there is seating outside in front of the cafe and in the little plaza directly across. It's a popular place for locals and tourists to stop in for a drink or more when the sun is out.
The menu is not extensive, but the food is of high quality and is well prepared. The coffee is especially good - they roast it themselves downstairs, and you can buy roasted beans to go.
