About De Boetzelaer Swim and Recreation Pool
Na de heftige brand 28 februari 2019 hebben we er met elkaar flink aan moeten trekken om weer een fantastisch zwembad neer te zetten. Direct na de brand is al het zwembad personeel verdeeld over verschillende zwembaden in de regio om zo affiniteit met het zwemvak te behouden. Twee jaar geen team zijn is moeilijk, echt heel zwaar. Je ziet elkaar weinig, mist elkaar en mist het samenzijn in één zwembad. Dit betekent dan ook dat we van verschillende medewerkers afscheid hebben moeten nemen.
In zwembad De Boetzelaer werken we nu weer met zo'n 50 medewerkers, die voornamelijk werkzaam zijn in de zwemzaal, receptie en horeca. Ook zijn er medewerkers verantwoordelijk voor de technische dienst, marketing-communicatie en is er een management-assistent.. Onze slogan is altijd geweest; Passie, Plezier en Inspiratie en dat is dan ook hetgeen wat wij graag met elkaar willen uitdragen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic disco swimming birthday party tonight.. kids feasted together then went into the disco pools whilst the parents were able to have dinner and watch the kids having fun! (No parents in the pool) Isjes to finish..! Well organised, safe and lots of fun. Big thanks to all the staff.. super job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice pool, very nice atmosphere. Lot of different pools with nice decoration. Water temperatures are nice and there is even a large hot tub if one wants to warm up a bit. One minor issue I found: the floor of the baby bath is very rough. One can very easily hurt him- or herself.

There's a tube for the kids, a bubble bath and a pretty decent (5 rows wide) swimming pool. Also there's a small low-water pool adjacent for the younguns. Fun decorated with pirate-themed ornaments and characters, with a small slide, water spouts and small "rapids".
Good place to have a splash for all! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to swim here when I was younger. Back then it was a really good place. Later I heard that the Boetzelaer was set on fire in 2019. That was really shocking, also for me. The whole corona period they took to built it again. I’ve not been at the new Boetzelaer but I heard it was awesome.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did a nice job with the construction of the new place. We had a fun swim and it wasn't too crowded on Wednesday.
The entry price is a bit expensive compared to other swimming pools.
