★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Daar we hier op het park op vakantie waren, hebben we direct de dag van aankomst gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant op het park, De Börker.
Personeel was erg vriendelijk maar miste de know-how en kennis van de gerechten. Dat was wel jammer omdat we graag wilde weten wat er precies bedoeld werd met sommige gerechten.
De kaart was niet heel erg uitgebreid, waardoor de keus erg gelimiteerd was.
Gerechten zelf waren goed, vlees was wat aan de taaie kant en de balans tussen saus en vlees was er eigenlijk niet, heel veel saus t.o.v. vlees.
Qua sfeer sloegen ze helaas ook de plank mis, de openhaard in het midden was er wel, maar stond uit,. Sfeerlampjes waren kerst slingers maar allerlei verschillende soorten wit en de helft stond uit. Jammer.
Zonde, met een beetje aandacht en een kritisch oog zou je hier echt wat leuks van kunnen maken.
Since we were on holiday here at the park, we immediately made use of the restaurant at the park, De Börker, on the day of arrival.
Staff was very friendly but lacked the know how and knowledge of the dishes. That was a shame because we wanted to know exactly what was meant by some dishes.
The menu was not very extensive, so the choice was very limited.
Dishes themselves were good, meat was a bit on the chewy side and the balance between sauce and meat was actually not there, a lot of sauce compared to meat.
Unfortunately, they also missed the mark in terms of atmosphere, the fireplace in the middle was there, but it was turned off. Atmosphere lights were Christmas garlands but all kinds of white and half were off. Unfortunate.
A shame, with a little attention and a critical eye you could really make something fun out of this.
