Its on the market place right near the Martinitour and Forum, the famous cultural centre. So you are at hardcore Groningen and its very bussy with people. Its one of the oldest and famous bars/restaurants of Groningen.
The ambience is just too good and the food as well.
Staff is friendly and really takes care of your need.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with amazing young staff they where so friendly and funny. The food was first class and a big thanks to the chef. We enjoyed every moment there and will be back for sure. We can recommend this place for a drink and the fantastic food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is always packed and after 2 years of living here I decided to finally try it out! We both ordered the club sandwiches which are very big! So I recommend ordering 1 and sharing it. Coffee was delicious and we also had a glass of wine each. Prices are very good and service was great as-well so definitely recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is actually good and the drinks and food are also ok. Do not expect something extraordinary even though it is one of the busiest places in the city. It is also most of the times full so you might wait a little while if you dont have a reservation. Very crowded and noisy place for my taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to several cafes and the service that by the Drie gezusters is by far the worse!! Just making simple drinks (glas of wine, or just a bier) took forever to arrive to our table, the waiters were kind of rude and not really friendly and we were somehow asked to let one person of our group to leave because we were many according to them (knowing that there were just six people and there were so many tables not in use and we asked multiple times to have our table rearranged somewhere else which of course didn’t happen) but good i think at this place the client doesn’t come first! we found ourselves rushing into finishing our drinks just to leave. First time in this place and definitely the last!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something drastically changed and it’s incredible! Whatever you guys changed - keep doing. Friendly staff that made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Alejandra was amazing with service and always kept our drinks full. Nachos came quickly and had us ordering more. News Cafe Groningen can take a few tips from you guys on how a restaurant should be. 10/10 will definitely be back!
