★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to a festival and enjoyed it. Really nice and comfortable hall with two stages and overall good sound. It has some lockers to leave clothes or bags inside, a bar with some food offer behind main stage. It´s pretty close to city centre and with a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended the sold out concert by Jeangu Macrooy at Effenaar in the Kleine Zaal. Wardrobe €1,50 per piece. Bar inside the room. Good temperature inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to an amazing Father John Misty concert here. The sound in the venue was awesome and the concert-hall itself was spacious. There were two bars in the venue; one to the right of the stage and one across from it. The toilets were fine, but a bit hard to access after the show as everyone needs to pass them on their way out. You can pay an optional €1.50 to get your jackets and bags stored in the cloakroom. The Effenaar staff were friendly and helpful. And there are many parking spaces in the vicinity of the venue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy, intimate venue. Perfect for seeing your favorite artists up close! Just saw St. Paul & the Broken Bones and it was spectacular... They really took advantage of the whole venue, as well. Also, there is a bar right next to the stage, so you won't miss anything to grab a beer.
