★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the far end of a row of smart new houses (each with its own canal-side mooring) lies the relatively new golf facility of De Goese Golf, rated 3-1/2 stars. Although set in a classically flat Dutch landscape, there is a surprising amount of rolling undulation built into Donald Steel's well-crafted layout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great course ( very good green keeping staff ), super friendly staff at reception and restaurant. I recommend one of the "packages" as the Chef is a serious professional. Go for the " three course surprise dinner ". The surprise is that you can choose from a fine selection of starters, main courses and deserts . Good choice of wines too. It is the perfect golf-day-out for a very , very good price !
