Hello!
We are Job and Anne, the proud owners of ‘De Koffieschenkerij’ since 2013. We are thrilled and so happy to welcome you to our beautiful café.
In collaboration with ‘de Stichting Oude Kerk’ (the Old Church Foundation) we transformed this old sacristy into a café. The sacristy dates back to 1517!
It was important to us to honor the feeling of antiquity and history. We added our personal touches to create a cosy environment for you to relax and enjoy your coffee in. We feel privileged to welcome our guests to such an authentic and historical place.
Our main focus is to make our guests happy! Happy with the simple and really good things in life; a delicious cup of coffee, a pie or a freshly baked piece of cake.
Everything we do is done with passion and all our products are carefully curated to meet our high quality standards. Our coffee and most of the products we use are organic. We support our local culinary community and partner with artisan bakeries who deliver their fresh baked treats to us every single day!

Right by the oldest building in Amsterdam (inside a courtyard, next to the walls of the church), with a view towards a canal but in a garden, under trees and separated from the sidewalk with a fence.

The only thing I’m missing is music. Hope this will be considered and maybe we can hear some music in the coffee shop :)

Can get busy but well managed,
Nice decor and atmosphere, even do there're mostly tourists, it's also a place that locals will visit.
It has a nice garden and it's just in the heart of the city.
