★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boat rent is 5 euros more expensive than other places and parking is 5 euros which 100 meters away the central parking is cheaper. The people on the boat service is rude and refuse to rent the kayak to us saying it is not allowed to foreigners only to locals. Will continue to complain to the hotel for this matter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place to rent a boat to take a 2 hour trip through giethoorn and the lake. They serve good drinks and they also have a good service. Everything looks very nice from the front lawn to the back garden where you can have a drink. Overall a very good experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rent all the time boats from this company . After we go to eat in their restaurant, they have nice food. There is a playgarden for the children close to the tears, so we can watch them all the time. Big parking place for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here to rent a boat. The staff at the hotel were very unfriendly. Did not want to let us use the bathroom. At the end of the sail we sat at the restaurant and one person had a beer. After 5 minutes they came to tell us that we cant sit there since we took just 1 beer and actually made us leave even though the place was 90% empty.
Really bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location in Giethoorn! Rooms are quite nice, though the bed is extremely uncomfortable which resulted in a terrible night's rest. This would easily raised my review. Staff was very friendly, though they could be a bit more helpful with local recommendations. At least have a board or brochure of local recommendations so every visitor isn't asking the same basic questions. Breakfast was ok - nothing spectacular but for only having a few guests in the off season it's hard to provide a very diverse breakfast buffet. Sound travels very easily where the rooms are, so a busy period with noisy neighbors could easily ruin a stay. Overall, I recommend if you are on a budget but if you are looking for a quality night's sleep then go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and clean spacious rooms. Suitable for families. Breakfast was rich, exactly what you ordered last day. Free parking for customers which is very important for visiting the village. Right outside you can rent a boat for your cruise around the lake and the canals in reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and helpful staff. We just came here for a drink and it is about closing time. One of the staff told us that they are about to close so she told us they couldn't accept us anymore. We told her that we just wanted to have a glass of something to drink and then she entertained us. Their drinks list wasn't complete anymore but we managed to have a good time at this lovely restaurant. Wouldn't mind coming back for a proper meal.
