★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely disappointed with the service and the behaviour of the staff. We ordered food and had to wait for 1 hour. Even after that the food was not ready. They kept saying that it is coming and it was not even ready, eventually we had to leave the restaurant without eating. The staff was extremely rude and arrogant. We almost felt they were discriminating based on skin colour. Giethoorn is such a beautiful place but we left the town with a bad after taste because of their behaviour. I would not even rate 1 star for it....please AVOID eating there!!

The burgers were beyond disappointing, the idea is great, the execution is horrible: chicken burger tasted like sponge deeped in oil, other meets were simply disgusting. The salads were also disappointing: lettuce, with red cabbage topped with sweet and sour pickle with rubber line goat cheese ?. I feel sick from the memory of how it tasted...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service! We went for lunch, but after being served with drinks, we waited another 50 minutes and our lunch was still not arrived. There were many people arrived after us but were served before us. I believe those were customers who did the reservation and orders beforehand. We asked the staff twice how soon we will have our lunch, she repeated "just a moment". The third time we checked with the waitress she told us sorry today we are really busy! I understood that the restaurant can be busy for customers but if they are not able to serve us food, they should have told us earlier so we can choose another restaurant to eat. In the end we took off without eating anything and paid for our cokes. They simply said sorry and cancelled our order. I wonder if they even prepared what we have ordered. I felt terrible and I don't think anyone deserves that. We in the end rushed to the airport without eating anything. What if it happened to someone who is really hungry and in need of food, the restaurant demonstrated the worst service ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is Very well located, and the food was excepcional, congrats to the cook, great hamburgers, Full of flavour, good bun, everything.
Too bad the experience is ruined because of the Very poor service, after a Lot of trying we were able to get someone to clean our tables, which we moved because nobody was paying attention to us.
With a little more training of the staff this place can be 5 stars!
