De Morgenster - Oudegracht 323
Café de Morgenster aan de Oude gracht in Utrecht is sinds 1916 het biercafé van de zuidelijke oude binnenstad. Met liefde voor mooi bier serveren we vanuit 5 tapkranen een wisselend assortiment aan nationaal & internationaal bier. Daarnaast schenken we ook seizoengebonden wisselflessen met stijlen zoals IPA, Porter, Kölsch, Stout/Russian Imperial, Sours & Saisons. Dagelijks kun je bij Café de Morgenster terecht voor een heerlijk kopje koffie of alvast aanschuiven bij de borrel.
Hapje en drankje
Met onze brede lijst aan fingerfood past bij elk drankje een heerlijk hapje. Naast bier kun je bij Café de Morgenster ook de uitgebreide collectie whisky en spirits zoals rum, gin en jenever ontdekken. Alle wijnen zijn bij ons open waardoor je de keus hebt uit zo’n 7 verschillende wijnen, welke je dus per glas kunt bestellen.

I did not feel welcomed and the small beer from tap at 4,5 eur is rather expensive. I do not know, this might be someone's idea of laid back, shabby sheek but to me it seemed underwhelming and overpriced

Wasn't busy when I was there- everyone else seemed to be regular) based on the bartender's familiarity. 5 taps and a wide bottle selection Was surprised they had a couple of New Belgium and Goose Island beers. Rest were Dutch and a couple of Belgians. Bartender spoke English (as pretty much all Dutch seem to); she gave me a couple of great recommendations. Glad I stopped in.
