★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personeel van de Pelikaan zeer asociaal. Als de klant een prijs wil weten van de chocolade en voor hetzelfde merk elders veel minder betaald, krijg je als je buiten staat te horen dat je een knieperd bent en maar snel moet doorlopen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij hebben er een Jura aparaat gekocht. Je wordt er goed voorgelicht. Ze weten veel van de koffie die je kunt gebruiken. Hebben heel veel leuke en lekkere dingen. Zijn twee mensen die met liefde hun zaak runnen.
We bought a Jura device there. You will be well informed. They know a lot about the coffee you can use. Have a lot of nice and tasty things. Are two people who run their business with love.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik ben hier bijzonder onbeschoft behandeld. Ik vroeg aan de (schijnbaar nieuwe) medewerkster wat de ingrediënten waren van een bepaalde thee. De man die achter haar stond en in eerste instantie alleen aandacht had voor zijn telefoon blafte haar toe dat ze hiervoor "het boek" moest raadplegen want van 120 soorten thee die we zelf verpakken weten we dat niet. Prima dacht ik maar stelde hem de vraag dat als je het zelf verpakt je toch ongevéér weet wat erin zit? Vakmanschap noemen ze dat. Of is een etiket met ingrediënten misschien een idee? (Dat is m.i. wettelijk verplicht bedacht ik me later). Hij liep vervolgens schreeuwend naar achter, mij en de medewerkster verbijsterd achterlatend. Ik ben zonder aankoop de winkel uitgegaan en zal hier ook nooit meer komen.
I have been treated extremely rudely here. I asked the (apparently new) employee what the ingredients were of a certain tea. The man standing behind her and initially only paying attention to his phone barked at her that she had to consult "the book" for this, because we don't know that about 120 types of tea that we pack ourselves. Fine, I thought, but asked him the question that if you package it yourself, you know about what is in it? They call it craftsmanship. Or is a label with ingredients perhaps a good idea? (I think that is required by law, I thought later). He then ran to the back screaming, leaving me and the employee stunned. I left the store without a purchase and will never come here again.

Als wij in de buurt zijn (wij gaan graag naar de Veluwe) gaan we altijd weer even kijken of er wat leuks is om aan te schaffen.
Leuke mokken of ander service. Misschien toch een leuk cadeautje omdat je dat toevallig tegenkomt.
Het personeel is uiterst aardig en vriendelijk.
Tot de volgende keer weer.
Incredibly nice coffee and gift shop!
If we are in the area (we like to go to the Veluwe) we always go to see if there is something nice to purchase.
Nice mugs or other service. Maybe a nice gift because you come across it by chance.
The staff is extremely nice and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer goed behandeld en de jongens en personeel altijd aardig en klant vriendelijk en als we het over koffie hebben ik kom al jaren in koffie tentjes waar de koffie erg onder de maat is vaak zijn de koffie machines niet schoon en is het gewoon smerig. Maar bij de pelikaan is de koffie ten zeerste de beste koffie die er is wordt al ruim 125 jaar vers gebrand door de pelikaan te zutphen (tevens hofleverancier)de thee is volgens mijn vrouw en vrienden echt heerlijk met name de droom mix is top.dus voor ons geen betere koffie en thee winkel dan de pelikaan te eerbeek een echte aanrader.
Very well treated and the guys and staff always nice and customer friendly and when we talk about coffee I have been coming to coffee places for years where the coffee is very substandard, often the coffee machines are not clean and it is just dirty. But at the Pelican, the coffee is by far the best coffee there is. It has been freshly roasted for more than 125 years by the Pelican in Zutphen (also purveyor to the Royal Household) According to my wife and friends, the tea is really delicious, especially the dream mix is top. for us there is no better coffee and tea shop than the pelican te eerbeek highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fijne winkel en prima plekje om even te stoppen voor een kop koffie. Neem er een stuk cheesecake bij en je bent weer klaar om verder te fietsen of te winkelen. Leuke cadeau-ideeën en heerlijke koffie, ook to go of bonen om mee naar huis te nemen.
Nice shop and great place to stop for a cup of coffee. Add a piece of cheesecake and you are ready to continue cycling or shopping. Nice gift ideas and delicious coffee, also to go or beans to take home.
