She was very arrogant and I had the impression she was enjoying making me feel stupid in front of the other customers. So, I would not recommend this place, specially if you are not a Caucasian dutch person.

He completely took advantage of the fact that I cannot speak Dutch and that I don’t have any knowledge about locks and door handles and proceeded to sell me something really expensive that I do not need. Worst of all he did not tell me that they do not do refunds! Avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes you meet a store where they actually think along with you. This is one of those rare ones. Nancy made sure I received great advice on the phone, discussed options over whatsapp and remembered my name and case when I stepped in the store without introduction.
She was fast, helpful and a great storyteller on the side. She made sure that my problem was solved and I left the store with a smile. Well recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to the store at 17:20 to get a copy of a key. The staff member who talked to me reacted quite annoyed that I wanted a service so short before the shop closes. To be honest, I wasn't even aware when the shop closes.
Anyway, he told me the price to make a copy of that key and that it would take 30 minutes to do it. Then he ignored all my further questions.
I absolutely understand that nobody wants to stay longer at work, still, a polite "Could you maybe come back tomorrow? Unfortunately, this will take too long to do it today." is not too much to ask.
The next day, I went to another store, where it took them less than a minute to make a copy of that key and it costs significantly less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly staff. They have charged double the local market price for a lock. Do not mind paying a bit more being a shop and all, but double is a hard stretch. I have raised the complaint later the same day at the shop and received a direct " sorry no refunds... it is what it is...next...". Zero arguments or concerns with the customer. I expected more from a business running since quite a while.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a safe from De Sleutelkluis, one that had been in their window for a long time. Took it home to find it was corroded and didn’t work properly, as the batteries had been left inside. So I returned the faulty safe 1 hour after purchasing.
I was told that refunds were ‘not company policy’, and a store credit note was the only option with an exchange. Pretty sure this doesn’t line up with EU consumer law for faulty goods.
