★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach is always nearby. Dunes and nature also. All is very neat and tidy. A very good area to explore on bike. Train stops is in the center of the city with the busstation aside of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Den Helder is a terminal train station. There are trains operated by NS. The station is the northest trains station in north Holland. If you want to go the the island Texel on the north side, you can take bus 33 to the ferry station and take ferry operated by TESO.
