D	D. de Wit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het kleine station bezit onvoldoende paaltjes om in- en uit te checken. 's Avonds is het er te donker en als de wind hard waait is het snel erg koud. Geen prettige plek om lang te verblijven. The small station has insufficient posts to check in and out. In the evening it is too dark and when the wind is blowing it is very cold. Not a pleasant place to stay for a long time.

M	Maarten Baars on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het is er afgelegen en saai. Open en vatbaar voor de wind. Hier wil je zeker niet in de winter of met regen de bus missen. Het kan er ernstig koud zijn. En in de avond voel je je ook nog eens niet veilig. Hier je auto 's nachts laten staan is geen goed idee. It is remote and boring. Open and susceptible to the wind. Here you certainly do not want to miss the bus in winter or with rain. It can be very cold. And in the evening you don't feel safe. Leaving your car here at night is not a good idea.
S	Saskia VvD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netjes opgeknapt. Blijft een tochtig geheel. Geen mogelijkheid voor koffie kopen, dat is jammer als je een lange treinreis voor de boeg hebt. Nicely refurbished. Remains a draughty whole. No option to buy coffee, which is a shame if you have a long train journey ahead.
N	Niehland Reil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit is één van de minst veilige OV haltes die ik ken in heel Nederland... Je fiets staat er niet veilig, je auto niet, en zelf kun je er beter ook niet alleen gaan staan. Hoewel de omgeving met een paar kleine ingrepen weer enigszins leefbaar te krijgen is laat de gemeente Den Helder hier echt veel liggen. Nu zijn we dat wel een beetje gewend alhier maar wanneer je er eens een keer wat meer bij stil gaat staan, wanneer je beseft dat je op elk willekeurig station middenin de Randstad veiliger af bent dan hier, helemaal aan het eind van de provincie waar je wanneer je nog twee stappen verder loopt al in het zoute water staat. Nee, dit deugt niet. Het zou zo moeten zijn dat mensen die werken gewoon op een veilige manier van huis naar werk en vice versa moeten kunnen reizen, niet dus. Fietsendiefstal, molest, lastig vallen van mensen, vernielingen, auto´s die en masse beschadigt werden en de discussie gaat gestaag verder terwijl de maatregelen uitblijven. Eigenlijk vind ik dat deze halte maar opgeheven moet worden, hoe onhandig dat ook is, hoeveel extra reistijd dat ook geeft, hoeveel extra parkeerdruk op het centrum dat ook met zich meebrengt, hoeveel extra autokilometers dat ook voor de N9 mag betekenen. Uiteindelijk ligt het niet aan de vernielers, dieven en molesteerders zelf natuurlijk, die zijn er altijd en ook overal. Nee, dit is een puur bestuurlijk probleem met waarschijnlijke uitkomst wanneer je zou gaan uitzoeken waarom dit nu na al die lange jaren nog steeds niet opgelost is, dat de ´ambtenaren die erover gaan´ gewoonweg niet met de trein reizen. Zo bizar en banaal is het toch echt. This is one of the least safe public transport stops I know in the whole of the Netherlands ... Your bicycle is not safe, your car is not, and you better not stand alone. Although the area can be made liveable again with a few small changes, the municipality of Den Helder is really leaving a lot behind. Now we are a bit used to that over here, but when you think about it a bit more, when you realize that you are safer from any station in the middle of the Randstad than here, at the very end of the province where you when you walk two steps further you are already in the salt water. No, this is wrong. It should be the case that people who work should be able to travel safely from home to work and vice versa, not that. Bicycle theft, molest, harassing people, vandalism, cars that were damaged en masse and the discussion continues while the measures are not taken. Actually, I think that this stop should be canceled, however inconvenient it may be, how much extra travel time that gives, how much extra parking pressure in the center that also entails, how many extra car kilometers that may mean for the N9.
