★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our third week in Amsterdam, our 2002 Golf IV decided to brake down in the middle of a busy A9 motorway, with the engine destroyed by the broken timing belt.
Found Diardam Autoservice on google maps, as the closest autoservice to our location. We were blessed with finding a kind and calm voiced stranger, on the other end of the phone and after what was to become a very long day, we met a short stature, big hearted guy.
Anybody who owns a car, knows how it feels to leave your car on the hands of a person you've just met, who is going to change her engine and bill you afterwards.
As it turned out it was a great deal, we've met a reasonable specialist, with a very clean and perfectly equipped workshop, who CHANGED THE CAR'S ENGINE. To make it clear, this stranger had to seek and find an engine, in the end it turned out to be two, since the first one was incompatible with the car, by no fault of his own, go get it and mount it on the car.
The owner is a honest and straight forward person, fully dependable.
I recommend to anyone in need, seek Diardam Autoservice and just let the guy do his thing, don't bother him, trust he will come to you with the best solution.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to re-fill the air conditioning system of my car today. Even though I’ve made an appointment i still had to wait over 30minutes to get served. The biggest complaint is that my door got scratched/damaged while they were handling and they’ve just played it of like they had nothing to do with it. Friendly staff but clearly not professional enough to own up to their mistakes. I would think twice and than additional three times more before going here.
