Rogier Dieges (1973)
My love for the bass started at the age of fifteen. After building my first double-bass I knew this would be my life’s dedication. The constant investigation and search for the acoustic secrets of the double-bass and the techniques to manipulate these has my greatest interest. Over the years I have been able to make a lot of bassplayers and basses happy.
Caroline Kamp (1987)
When I was five, I started playing the violin and twelve years later I took on the double-bass. A wonderfull instrument that I knew quite well, because my mother had one that she never used. I started playing this bass and loved the instrument ever since. I graduated from the Codarts jazz academy. Working at Rogiers workshop is very interesting and inspiring to me because I get to see the double-bass in another way than I’m used to.
