β β β β β From the outside it looks like a rundown storefront or a really badly kept, never cleaned storage where several metric cubes of empty cardboard boxes or spent tape rolls clutter everything for a claustrophobic, hoarder's den-like visual experience. Almost impossible to find anything without having to move several objects or piles of records (yes, horizontally piled) from the other boxes containing the records to sift through. Whatever is found is basically the same reissues that are available anywhere else at regular brick-and-mortar prices. Maybe for djs it provides a different experience and you can find something valuable but for hc/punk or metal it's not really worth it.

β β β β β Great place for finding those obscure and underground records. Amazing electronic music collection! Be ready to dive into an unending world of crates upon crates of vinyl records.

β β β β β Lovely record store. The place is cramped with records left and right and seems pretty chaotic at first, but is in fact well assorted and easy to navigate. Selection is electronic music and disco mainly, however there's hip hop, rock and indie and classics from last century too, just fewer in numbers. Speaking of numbers, there's well over 12000 records available at Distortion. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable.
This store really is a gold mine full of lovely records that want to be found. If you want to pay this store a visit, bring a few hours of spare time with you because you will be digging until your brain has had enough of it, or the place closes.

β β β β β Crazy messy shop we weren't even sure it was open until we tried the door. Boxes and boxes of records everywhere - the floor space is very tight because of this, and the toll is hidden behind a pile almost to the ceiling. Despite this the owner knew exactly where to point to various genres we were interested in. Very cool shop where we found a few gems we will return for another day.

β β β β β Very tight and fully packed, but really diverse collection. Very nice owner, providing helpful service
(speaks (at least) English, Dutch and German).
If you can spare some time off your day, you can certainly find some gems.
Nothing for claustrophobes.

β β β β β Very special place, unpretentious but extremely important as a true temple of the vinyl aesthetics. Amond is always helpful, knowledgeable person, he has wonderful musical taste. Also check out distortionrecords profile on discogs.com if you're into vinyl

β β β β β Fantastic record shop where the word digging gains true meaning. Full and messy, box, crates, and a lot of genres, this is at the same time a shop and a warehouse. I am impressed how Amond always finds his way around.
