★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Suunto d4i gave an error on the pressure sensor. I contacted Suunto and they advised to bring it to an authorized dealer to fix it. The corrective action was to remove the battery and re-install it.
I went to Dive Post, explained the situation to a very polite employee, she contacted Suunto to confirm the corrective action. Since the dive computer was still under guarantee, I would not need to pay for this service.
However, since the dive computer would have been opened, I asked if they could also change the battery and I could pay for the battery.
Then the owner came and told me that he would either open the computer, remove that battery and put it back for free since it is under warranty, or he could put a new battery and charge me 30 euro.
I find this unacceptable, rude and unprofessional from his side. Making 30 euro more is more important than having a happy client?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my partner recently completed a PADI Open Water course with Dive Post and I can only recommend the experience. The gear is brand new and very good, the instructors are experienced and the staff (especially Gertine) are friendly, flexible and accommodating. The quality of service is really unusually high for the Netherlands and everyone at Dive Post seemed to know at all times who we are, what stage of the course we are at, and what we need. Highly recommend doing your diving with them :)
