★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uniek natuurgebied. Het enige in NL dat buitendijks ligt en alle vegetatie is zoutwater bestendig. Loopt regelmatig onder water bij de kombinatie van springtij en flinke noordwestwind. Veel wandel en fietspaadjes, zeer brede stranden met hele drukke en hele rustige gedeeltes.
 Unique nature reserve. The only thing in NL that lies outside the dikes and all vegetation is saltwater resistant. Runs regularly under water with the combination of spring tide and strong northwest wind. Many hiking and biking trails, very wide beaches with very busy and very quiet areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was een gok ipv naar Ouddorp of Goedereede eens afslag Havenhoofd te nemen. Ideale omgeving om tot rust te komen. Hier heerlijke bramen geplukt, lijkt me overigens een fantastische plek eens terug te komen met skeelers, step, fiets of lopend. In nabije omgeving kom je daarmee prima uit de voeten!
It was a gamble to take exit Havenhoofd instead of going to Ouddorp or Goedereede. Ideal environment to relax. Picked delicious blackberries here, seems to me a fantastic place to come back with inline skates, scooter, bicycle or on foot. You will be fine with that in the vicinity!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik ga er het liefst heen als het hoogwater is. De hond kan dan lekker zwemmen.
Verderop kan je de duinen in. De hond mag aangelijnd mee.
Het is er heel erg rustig.
I prefer to go there when the tide is high. The dog can then swim nicely.
Ahead you can enter the dunes. The dog is allowed on a leash.
It is very quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een prachtig wandelgebied met het strand van De Kwade Hoek als toetje. Let wel op, als u het strand op gaat. Na de stormen van februari 2022 kan de weg van het strand terug naar de duinen door het water afgesneden worden.
A beautiful walking area with the beach of De Kwade Hoek for dessert. Be careful when you go to the beach. After the storms of February 2022, the road from the beach back to the dunes may be cut off by the water.
