Veggie ramen & Tan Tan Men (Taka style Dan Dan noodles) being the dishes we had.
Veggie GyΕza are also very good.
15/5 would reccomend.

Though the service is a bit slow cos there is only 1 person chef in the kitchen. But def worth the wait!

β β β β β I have never been to Japan but this felt pretty legit to me. Had the spicy tan men and a cold sencha. Delicious pork in the noodles. The lady who served has a slightly abrupt manner which i can imagine putting some people off but sheβs a sweetheart really. The chef seems like a lovely guy.

β β β β β Taka-san remains the Ramen Master of Amsterdam, despite the name change, and confusion of his old fans.. The heart of ramen, the broth, is best by a mile, from all the other pretenders.. Taka's broth is boiled so many hours you taste the gelee melted from the bones, his tonkatsu is super tasty, and the addition of wakame and kimchi spices the already super combi.
Noodles are perfect. After trying all the other claimants to 'best ramen', I still conclude Taka's is Best.

β β β β β Excellent Ramen and Okonomiyaki from a very experienced chef. Taka is the best in town. Located at the top floor of the shop, there is an elevator. Bright and airy room with view down canal.

β β β β β We had a fantastic lunch here. Went for the Okonomiyaki pancake and the Tan Tan Men Soup/ Noodles. Both really hit the spot as we were a bit hungover from the night before. Never had Tan Tan noodles but the spice mix together with the chicken and pork made for a wonderful dish. I will return for sure.
