★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleinschalig restaurantje waar je lekker kan eten in een ongedwongen sfeer. De kaart is prima qua keus en de gerechten zijn lekker. De porties zijn groot, dus van sommige gerechten kun je een kleinere portie bestellen.
Small-scale restaurant where you can eat well in a casual atmosphere. The menu is good in terms of choice and the dishes are tasty. The portions are large, so you can order a smaller portion of some dishes.

A warm welcome into the picturesque breathing room.
As a starter the choice was quickly made a surprise trio of venison, today it was duck with berries, pulled wild boar and two croquet of deer ragout all well served, but the pulled wild boar should have been little warmer for nicer taste.
The main course, a porc rib steak with herb butter, backed potatoes or French fries, small salad and warm broccoli, red beet and a green salad as side dishes.
A smooth red wine gave an extra pleasuring taste of the food.
To finish the nice dinner a kiroyal bavroais with red fruits and whipped cream. It was great and will come for sure back for another great dinner.
As told I have been back there for several times after my review, and all dinners were from the same or even better taste and quality.
Small note to be made that it's not a cheap place to go, depending what you order of course. A one course meal or full 3 or 4 courses with drinks.
