★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not as good as a few years ago. Service is friendly but not good. There are much better Italian restaurants in the neighborhood. And there is a dog (!) in the restaurant. It comes at the tables and also walks around in the kitchen! The staff pet the dog and then do not appear to wash their hands after. Very unhygienic situation and very inappropriate to have a dog in a restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Behind the typical Dutch name and decor hides one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Unlike so many others, this one only serves authentic Italian food including the thorough attention to the quality of the ingredients which goes with that. Would definitely recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere is warm and vibrant. Service was friendly, knowledgable and attentive without being to intrusive. The pasta has to be tasted to be believed. The chefs are clearly proud if their food which they should be. One of my favourite eating experiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is fantastic. Stranded in Amsterdam due to a flight cancellation, an Amsterdam resident recommended this place. We were thrilled to find it! The managers squeezed us in despite not having a reservation and the place being incredibly busy, they made detailed and thorough suggestions on food and wine (and the burrata is indeed a must-have), and they were incredibly fun-loving and kind and hospitable. The food and atmosphere were the perfect blend of homey and classy, and I loved this place so much that I'm almost (ALMOST) glad our flight was cancelled!

Now prices too high and quality compromised.
Still a warm interior and still too noisy.
