★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small yet beautiful place was really cozy and warm, a classic brown bar in Amsterdam. We sat at the bar and had beers and apple pie. The pie must be very popular as it was still warm when served. We also saw another two pies just freshly done baking to be places on the rack. Yum! We had a good time at the bar. They were busy and service was adequate. They have big tables so prepare to share a table if you have a small group. Cash only if under €15.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A smashing little cafe bar on the corner where Prinsengracht and Brouwersgracht meet. Very picturesque inside. The landlord his a good sense of humour. When I arrived I asked for (in my poor Dutch) 2 Heinekens. He said he sells beer, not Heineken!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, atmosphere and the wait staff made our family feel welcomed. We sat in the upstairs knook and it was perfect view from the second floor balcony. It was a gr es at stoo for lunch after walking up through the canal streets. The beer paired great with our basket of deep fried delicacies. A must stop and check out when in Amsterdam.
