★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am new to the train system here so this probably sounds silly but, it is VERY cold in this station during the cooler months! Maybe I've gotten used to the bigger stations that stay warmer? Next time I would dress warmer to be in here (it seems even colder than outside at some points!)
Either way, the food options here are great and the food is prepared wonderfully. Being an American, this is very different than our public transit food options. I was very pleased

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a so great experience. Announcements are only made in German and this makes it difficult for tourists or non-german speakers. Additionally, ticket validation can only be done at one end of the station. So if your train arrives at line 1, you'll have to walk past line 14, validate your ticket and then return to line 1. This is very painful....poor design.

Transportation around this train station is enormous because of the city’s location
There are almost 13 platforms for local and far commute trains, as well as 4 platforms for Trams that connects the city
Beside the huge bus network that passes by the station
There are mainly 3 entrances (Main - East and the North which ich also the entrance for the underground subway system)
Here there are a lot of places to get coffee, sth to eat (like McDonalds or Turkish kebab) a DM store, a flowers shop and a small kiosk.
I would suggest the smoothies booth on the east entrance.
