★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is ok, the house wine is nice, service is also good, starters and vegetables are really good, but meat in general was a disappointment - we ordered fillet and rumpsteak - it seamed that meat was from the same cut, it was not tender, with lots of fat and not chewable parts...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ordered by thuisbezorgd. The burger meat was inedible too salty. The ordered garlic sauce was forgotten. When I called the driver back to complain, he just hung up.
Price performance was poor except for salad, there was nothing on the burger on it. never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We felt like some nice food and decided to go out to this restaurant which is around the corner for us. We entered and talked to one of the staff to get a table, we waited 15 minutes for the menus to arrive…
The staff overall is quite rude and unmotivated which was not very nice to communicate with.
Eventually half of us ordered tapas as main, and the other half ordered a main. We waited some 30 minutes for the tapas to arrive and loong after that was finished, about 45 minutes later, the mains of the other 2 arrived so we basically ate separately! (see picture)
When we adressed this issue to the staff they were not showing any empathy or interest which was quite frustrating. I don’t write a bad review easily, and specifically have never even been in a situation like this, but to cut it short, it was an unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend to have dinner here!

Cappuccino had a good balanced taste for coffee and a great foamy milk.
Starters: We ordered the garlic mushrooms for starters. We found a fly was cooked in with the mushrooms. When we alerted the waiter, he was just suprised but did not apologize or told us what they will do to componsate.
Main course: tango menu - 3 different cuts of beef with vegetables, salad and chips. None of the meat was exceptionally good in flavour. The textures of the meat ranged from being too soft and felt like eating jelly to having to chew really hard. I did not like the salad much, the vegetables all tasted like broccoli and the carrots where also greatly varied in hardness. Chips would have been amazing if they were salted.
I had a glass of red wine that was full in flavour and tasted really well with the red meat.
When I also told the waiter about our experience, they were not really listening and i really felt like it would not be heard by anyone that could help improve the overall experience for future customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It takes a lot to get me to write bad Google rating but that's something you achieved tonight.
Be careful about this restaurant, long waiting times and unorganized staff. Waiting time with way over an hour with an half full restaurant, we were four guests with two only ordering tapas... Two of us finished our food and waited another 30 minutes before the rest of us got served, as a Bartender I can not recommend the cocktails and the food was okay but not worth the money. Texel has better places.
