Car was not cleaned, hoovered etc. disinfected the steering wheel myself. Frankly, this is a health incident! Had to pay the full amount! Friendly staff admitting running the business in a rush

Management here is corrupt. Please avoid at all cost. Charges for damages that were identified by us in the initial assessment. Ludicrous story about not being able to find the car when it was left in their own lot and resulting charges. Plus not following their own terms and sharing the requested documentation of supposed incident. Absolute bullying by the manager. Lack of transparency about insurance policies and ruthless upselling for insurance that is already bought. (We witnessed that this is done by the manager but not other employees, so beware.) Diverting each and every query by email to phone and by phone to email. There is no excuse for a business to be run this way.

Same issues as everyone else regarding claims of damage. We took the car out for four hours for barely over 100km, zero issues, zero collisions. Parked the car in the parking spot after hours and returned the key, full tank of gas. Woke up the next morning to an email stating there was damage to the front bumper that we absolutely could not have caused, and that they would be holding on to my deposit until they could determine the amount of repairs. They attached pictures of a small scratch and a slightly out of place bumper that would have likely needed a collision to occur, when no such thing happened. They would not provide photos of the car before and cannot prove we caused the damage; for all we know it occurred in the parking spot after we returned it as requested. Deeply frustrated and I feel that there is very little way to fight this.

I rented a Skoda Superb Combi here for three days for €155. Unlimited mileage, no extra insurance. Amazing car. Picked it up on a Thursday evening. I was the only customer so swift pickup. Friendly employee. He did not push me to buy extra services or insurance. They blocked a €900 deposit on my credit card for thirty days. Car was clean. No complaints. Keep in mind if you have a full-to-full fuel policy, that you have to leave the receipt from the fuel in the car and fuel up within a 5km radius of Europcar. There's a gas station around the corner on the Binckhorst Laan though, so that's not a problem. There's plenty of public transport options to get to Europcar if you are on foot.

Don't return the car after hours. Doesn't matter if you returned it without any issues and if their staff's van was responsible for the 'damages'. They will charge you the full amount of your deposit and lie to your face. It doesn't matter if you have pictures or not, they will just shrug and just say your liable until the inspection and won't even let you see the claimed damages yourself. Shocked how crooked their tactics are. No transparency. No professionalism. Just be careful, I'd hate for you to be next. I'd go elsewhere if I were you.

They charged me 800,- euros damages that were caused by them self after returning the car. Sadly I didn't take images when returning the car. Big mistake. Take images when returning if you rent from these guys. Or better: rent somewhere else.

I have rented vehicles from this location 3 times over the course of 2020 and it was simple. As an international there was little difficulties with the paper work and payment. I always got a complimentary upgrade (this might be related to the time of day as I would be there close to opening hours). There is complimentary coffee and tea available as you wait for your vehicle to be ready. Dropping off after hours is simple and there is a bike stand on the property.
