Terrible experience! In 1 month, twice the blood sample of my cat (with hypothesis of cancer) got lost. I entered Evidensia Dierenziekenhuis on March 2nd because my cat -young and extremely active- became suddenly letargic for more than a week. A very kind doctor made several exams: ultrasounds, blood tests and biopsy. He diagnosed a lynphoma and said the blood test would have identified an eventual presence of leukemia. I took appointment with the Veterinair Werwijs cetrum in Gouda (specialized in cancer treatment for animals) on March 25th and I started calling Evidensia Dierenziekenhuis almost everyday to have the blood test results. The answer was: "we have called the Lab, we will get the results tomorrow". After almost 3 weeks -getting closer to March 25th- I expressed my strong disappintment and we did the blood test again. At Veterinair Werwijs Center in Gouda, the vet told me he needs an extra exam of the biopsy of the cat and he sent directly the request to Evidensia Dierenziekenhuis. 3 weeks later AGAIN the results of the biopsy were not ready and every day I received the same answer: "we called the lab. the results will be ready tomorrow." On April 12th -the day before my second appointment at the Gouda Werwijs Center- I called directly the Lab and they found no request for a biopsy test. How was it possible? Evidensia had just told me the results would have been ready "tomorrow" and the lab had no request?? I reported to Evidensia my call to the Lab, a couple of hours later Evidensia called me back saying they had the biospy results and they just sent to Gouda Veterianir Werwijs center. in Gouda, the vet of the Werwijs Center told me the result was "unreadable". Not trusting the results of all the tests done by Evidensia, the Vet and I decided togheter to do again all the tests to the cat. Apart of the double stress for the cat and the double costs for me (450 EUR to Evidensia + 400 EUR TO Verwijs center),my cat will start the therapy against cancer only next week (2 months later I entered Evidensia). I understand that loosing a blood sample is possible. But two times in a month it is really too much. Evidensia can say it was a problem with the Lab. But they must feel responsible of the process and on top of it. And they are not. Francesco Mazza

The Evidensia team took such great care of my cat, Panda! Panda has a heart murmur and a hyperactive thyroid. Dr Stoop took excellent care of her when she needed some teeth extracted, I was so nervous due to her heart problem and older age. She was closely monitored and I was kept so well informed of her progress. I collected her and she was very bright-eyed and recovered quickly and happily! Also the Evidensia team discovered her hyperactive thyroid and are helping me with ongoing treatment. The team are so professional and wonderful, your pet is in very good hands at this clinic!

We came to this clinic for an emergency for our long time beloved best friend who unfortunately passed away. They were very helpful, kind and empathic. They kept us updated and provide every explanation about his conditon and the outcome. Very respectful staff, I highly recommand this clinic.

Amazing team that helped us quickly with our cat. The doctor explained what she was doing, what the options are and the next steps. She was also transparent regarding the costs, which are not to ignore, and took decisions in the best interest of the wellbeing of our cat.

Such great care of not just pets, but also us. Provided so much support and advice.

Not so smart people from Surinam on the reception. She can't jump intellectual and make appointment for my animal because it was not in system. Goed for an owner of this place to read that reception didnt want to take new customer ??? Very strange.
