★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came for an eye test and to get new glasses. Firstly there is no official eye exam or an optician. It’s a drugstore and your “optician” is the lady who is also the cashier. She told me to sit and a machine scanned my eyes. End of exam after 30 seconds. She printed my prescription and handed it to me and asked wether I need glasses for reading or for distance. Never mind that that’s the reason I came there in the first place. I told her I need them for both. She said it’s impossible and that she’s never heard such a thing. She then went on blabbering about how even her husband didn’t reach that stage. She suggested I go to the hospital and have my eyes checked.
