we were recent arrivals here in Amsterdam looking to our local bike shop to provide us with some wheels. The owner told us some things about the bike that simply were not true. 1 being that my wife's bike would be compatible with children's seats - false and 2 that my bike would be okay despite being a second hand ride. Also not true three trips to the shop later and I'm through with these people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renter beware. We rented 5 bikes. We went on a very short ride. Locked our bikes and then 2 were stolen. When coming back to shop the lady was only going to give deposit back for 2 of the 3 bikes returned. Feels very sketchy to me. The bikes stolen had a different lock than the 3 that were not.

Prices are not expensive : 15,5€ for one and a half day per bike.
Highly recommended!
