★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good bike renter. They have plenty of bikes. And a lot of variation. You will get the bike you want. Bike with one child or two, tandem with your partner, or even a cargo bike (bakfiets) all are available.
I rent a bakfiets for me and my son. It came with rain cover and all bells and whistles working. This is important as you might be fined in the Netherlands. My wife got a ladies. Her frame size is small. It's usually hard to find her bike. But they got it.
Not to mention they replaced my bike when lock was stuck. They charge for 3 days when I was renting for 4 days. This is because on the first day we'll not be able to bike much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented two bikes from Metz and their bikes and service were excellent. We arrived in Ameland late in the evening on December 31st and ordered a bike late on December 31st. Despite ordering late on a public holiday, the bike was delivered in the morning of January 1. Which was really awesome beyond what we expected.
During our stay, we rented two bikes and both bikes were modern and well-maintained.
We'll definitely rent at Metz again the next time we'll visit Ameland.
