β β β β β Absolutely horrible... paid double because of Easter and the quality is of a cheap motel. After 12 a club starts and the music is as loud as if it was in the room. Itβs impossible to sleep... room is very poor... warn people for this before they pay 370 for 2 nights...

β β β β β Very disappointed - entire vacation ruined.
Full of joy to the holidays we arrived after a long journey at the hotel: we had booked two double rooms - but only one was available (with a booking confirmation about two rooms) overburdened staff proposed only a temporary soluton: a room with three beds. Old furniture, worn chairs, no feel-good atmosphere and the faucet of the shower was dire. Throughout the stay, there was no effort of the staff to improve our whole situation. The amount was (without debit!) charged after the first night for four nights, although it was an unfair situation.
The environment of the hotel is like a party mile, very scruffy and noisy.
Never again!

β β β β β Restaurant: we had made a reservation for a particular table (as we would bring along our dog) and when we showed up at the agreed time our table was gone and the staff was not willing to fix the issue. During breakfast the staff showed no interest in the wellbeing of their clients and were pretty rude.
Hotel: the rooms facing the street are incredibly noisy until 5 am. Though the hotel offers ear plugs, these are not sufficient. The rooms are quite expensive and the service offered does not live up to the expectation.

β β β β β First, we get there and there was 1 space left in the hotel's parking lot. While checking in, we're told that the lot was full and if I managed to park somewhere, it's because someone must have left, so please move the car... Strange! Then it turns out our room was a handicapped/senior citizen room. Way to warm, even in wintertime. Bathroom mirror unusable because it's on a wheelchair height. But all that would be okay, if it wasn't for the fact that the only window looked out on a square with bars and a disco. This window had no soundproofing. Even closed we could here every word said outside. To top it all off, in the middle of the night there was a loud bang on the door from some drunken guests coming back. This last bit I can't blame the hotel, but all in all it was one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel so far.

β β β β β Friendly staff , clean reception and clean restaurant. Bit outdated rooms but clean.
High season is pretty expensive but this was not the most expensive one so you do not hear me complain (160β¬ 2 persons 1 night with breakfast)
Cons:
Noisy rooms in the front , but ours was at the middle so not that bad.
Check out at 11 sucks to be honest.
Default no fridge and no water boiler no fΓΆhn (!!??)
Pros:
Very comfortable bed and very clean.
Location close at he beach and supermarket.
Wireless internet connection is great .. stable 8mbps download and 0.9 mbps upload.. 24ms delay and 11ms jitter.
Parking is small we bought the Texel 24h vignet online so we can park where we want.

β β β β β Service was way below standard, very reserved and hasty. Waitress was bad-tempered. Food was inconsistent in quality. Starters were original and well made. Main dishes were less original, preparation was poor, presentation ok. The deserts were ok, an attempt was made to be original, but in the end they were just average. Final conclusion: the restaurant isn't worth the trouble. I am convinced that there is way better food to be found on the island of Texel.

β β β β β Not a great experience, the waitress didnβt listen well so we got a couple wrong things. At a given moment there was only 1 waiter so he had to bring all the drinks around and was pretty moody because of all the things he had to do. Poorly managed and a bit sad for the one waiter.
