★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Egg waffles done all sorts of ways, both sweet and savory for below the €10, making this a rather good value for money lunch spot.
Flavour? 9/10. Super delicious, crunchy sweet waffles combined with savory toppings such as a tuna salad I had
Healthy? Not particularly. Everything is very high in sugar. Worth it? Yes.
Customer Service? Friendly, but could be better. A little on the slow side and one point in particular left a bit of a bad after feeling about the place hence the 3 star rating: I asked for a small glass of tap water to accompany my meal and was refused, urged instead to pay for a bottle of mineral water. In the Netherlands, where tap water is practically as good if not better than the bottled variant I find this to be somewhat problematic.

Upon entering you're greeted with Asian pop music blasting from the speakers. This turned out to be a karaoke setup. We decided to spare the ears of other customers and the staff. The walls are decorated with murals, toys and all kinds of stuff that remind you of Japanese, Korean and Chinese pop culture.
We ordered bubble soy milk tea with tapioca balls for drinks. On the photo; to the left red bean, to the right taro. It tasted great; the fresh ingredients. For food we ordered savory filled egg waffles. On the photo; to the left chicken yakitori, to the right kimchi tuna. Both were delicious.
While we waited for the drinks and food, the staff encouraged us to try some table top games and we did.
The food combined with karaoke and games makes this place very suited for couples, friends and kids. For my next visit I plan to order one of the sweet filled egg waffles.
I recommend to try Foo Concepts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really recommend this place. We run there late but the owner welcomed us anyway to take away. Since we had a problem with our credit card he was kind enough to wait for us to get cash. As we waited for the waffle to be done he talked to us and asked us for our background story while he shared his and the story about the store itself. After that we tasted the waffle and it was very delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness. Price was 6€

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered some bubble waffles to go (covid19 lockdown). The bubble waffles are awesome! But we were really impressed with the staff. The person that helped us was so bubbly and positive! The sweet one was supposed to have ice cream, but with cold weathers we preferred something less cold and we were allowed to swap it into brownies instead!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful design and decoration. Really cute cafe, perfect for a date. Unfortunately closed for eating in due to corona but you could pick it up or order it online. Make sure to try the kimchi tuna sushi sandwich! Really, really good! 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a HongKonger who have stayed in the Netherlands since last year, I am so glad that I can finally find a shop that sells bubble waffles (雞蛋仔).
The combination of traditional bubble waffles and other ingredients like strawberry ice cream is innovative and awesome. The presence of ice cream and lychee allow me to not feel so dry when eating bubble waffles. At the same time, ice cream and lychees are not liquids so the bubble waffles can still be crispy. The staff there is very nice as well. As a result, I recommend tasting bubble waffles from this restaurant. I may visit here again in the future.
It would be even better if the shop sells bubble waffles separately without any other ingredients so that people here can find out how the traditional Hong Kong bubble waffles actually taste like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely and fun restaurant serving Hong Kong style bubble waffles, both savoury and sweet, as well as bubble teas with or without tapioca pearls. I had waffles with chicken popcorn. Delicious! Everything is freshly prepared on the spot by a very charming and cheerful young lady. Can't wait to return to sample some sweet waffles. Highly recommended!
