I went to the studio; the guy took two pictures, i could select the better one; pictures were print and cut in less than 2 mins. 10 euros may seem a bit too much for 5 mins of work, but then there is all the equipement to make this work so fast.
Super happy (and it took me only 10 mins in the stadslokket to get the drive's license application)

Last Saturday I was doing some research looking for a decent photo studio for some visa photos which are slightly different than passport ones, and therefore require some extra skills.
Found Heno and read through the reviews.. and I was really disappointed with what I was reading, but I thought.. oke let's enter the studio and just ask a question about the photos etc.
I gotta tell you the ladies immediately won my attention! They carefully and patiently read through my photo's requirements (had them on the phone) and took those photos like PROS! I'm extremely happy with the results! Some other ppl complain above about the prices, well dunno, perhaps they are more expensive than others, but quality costs more in general.
Last but not least, the bald guy has cool jokes too, despite what's written above. I guess you just need some sense of humour, a decent vocabulary and then Heno is the perfect place for you to take photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One star would be too much for this place. Owner is extremely unfriendly, unpleasant, arrogant, slow, and opinionated. Quality of the photos is just average to poor. Price is very high. WORST service I've had in a photo studio. I left with that mixed feeling when you understand how happy you are, when clearly the person on the other side dislikes his job and life. Not worth it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can only give positive feedback. Friendly, quick and accepted pictures at the officials. In my case for a US visa. One suggestion to improve is to lower costs. Paid for a standard 6 pictures, but actually only needed 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A pretty nice and efficient place to get a quick photo for documents right next to the municipality. In a few minutes a nice photo was ready for me, and with multiple copies that can be used for other Dutch documents.
Totally don’t get some of the reviews complaining about the prices. 10€ is very fair for the standard photo and paying extra for non standard photos makes sense too - you’re paying to a professional doing some good work for you!

Hi, I wrote my review in English so that people who don’t speak Dutch can read it as well.
You made two comments along the lines of; “Make sure you look nice, you never know what an official might do for you" and “if you look nice you can make them happy”.
Would you say the same thing to men?
It’s not flattering. And not funny either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people are friendly but the technical side is a disaster. Your photo will come out looking like it was made in 70-s. The lights are old and cheap, the laptop like this I saw last time maybe 15 years ago in school - it gets stuck and you have to wait. My hair is blonde, it ended up looking full black on the photo (I think it’s because of the wrong lighting).
I had done previously a passport photo in a different place for the same 10eur but it was amazing.
Don’t go here.
