Great place to go with someone that loves different foods. There are a lot of things to taste, not for free though, lines are long on a warm day. Worth it

Too busy! Queing for everything; a beer, toilets and even for walking around. I think this festival is a victim of its own success. Food is nice, not great and pricy. Because of the crowd waiting, the trucks don’t have time to put that extra love in to their dishes. Music was nice and I’m always a fan of the traveling circus/ gipsy caravan atmosphere but that also gets lost in the crowd. I saw people bringing their own food and drinks, but if you’re having a picnic I can think of better places to enjoy it.

Great variety of food. Both new/vegan and traditional. However, the beer tents are a complete and utter RIP-OFF. You have to pay for your glass and also for the beer. It's not a deposit but a EUR 2,- for a 0.5 liter plastic glass. I asked what the reason was and got the answer that it was "better for the environment". I beg your pardon? The environment is to be taken seriously and not hi-jacked as a "oh-we-are-so-good-to-take-care-of-the-environment" wishy-washy marketing stunt. Take a returnable deposit; then you can claim that you take care of the environment. Anything else is just BS! BTW price for 4 x 0,5 liter of thin beer: EUR 32,40!!!! I've been to this festival three times: The first, the last and the only!

It is nice to experience, once, but if you have experienced this festival in their early start, than this what is left from it today, might be very disappointing. The most of my friends don't even bother to visit it. I just got there this year, because i was introducing it to the expats who just arrived to The Netherlands. However, this is one of those festivals that started as a very creative, with excellent food that you normally cannot buy. It was smaller and more intimate, with a lovely atmosphere. That all would attract really friendly, interesting individuals where you felt being part of. But since years, there is nothing really interesting about. NO real creativity between the food stands, music is way too laud, way too many people, and no really inviting and friendly atmosphere as it was in the beginning. It it became just as any other festival, way too busy, way too laud and way too commercial. Such a pity.

The ambient is very relaxed. A lot of food trucks with a huge choice of high quality food. Great!

If the weather is good then this is the event to be. You can sir in the park, eat and enjoy the music. There are a lot of concerts as well. The food , drinks is a bit costly but yoi can bring the stuff from outside which is allowed. The public transport is close and available all 24 hours.

Super fun good festival in Amsterdam! This is the 12th time/year they organised this event! Beer drinking (keeping the event glass) and eating lots of food on a very sunny day is the best! This time the Arancini has won my heart. ❤ See you next year again!
