Friendly and very helpful host, cozy atmosphere and incredible cheese variety. Nice wine selection too - just make sure you go easy on it :)

You need to try the oldest Gouda, it's flavourful and unique. The truffle Gouda goes well with hot sandwiches.
Other than that, wide cheese selection from France and Switzerland, with even some feta.
The charcuterie is dutch and comes from a local famer, so I encourage you to taste it.
Also, i love the soundtrack that they have made, it's available on Spotify!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this place by accident. It has a great range of cheese. The concept is fantastic, you can sit down either inside or on the canal side and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese or charcuterie. Very good service and we really had a nice time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trendy decor but not a real cheese shop. To me it seems more like a tourist trap or a place for people who like a nice decor more than good cheese. They only seem to have a small selection of quite overpriced factory-made cheeses. If you're looking for high quality Dutch cheese, look elsewhere.
It would seem that the only way to react to the reply of the proprietors here below is by editing my original review so here goes:
I thought when I read 'fromagerie' that it was a cheese shop. I did not realise that it was not a shop but instead a hospitality industry (tourism, hotel, bars and restaurants) concept. I thought I was buying cheese but instead I seemed to have been paying for a 'cheese buying experience' with French music and a nice decor. As for the farmhouse cheeses that you seem to be selling, there apparently were none there on the day I visited so I guess I was unlucky.
Thank you for clarifying what your business actually entails. It was not clear to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw this shop when I parked my car and it seemed a place to go from outside. Inside, this is awesome : nice choice of cheeses from different countries and also cold meats.
The staff is professional and efficient.
Prices are good.
They do not accept American Express but they accept the other credit cards.
