The history of Bijdendijk goes back to 1843 when the Bijdendijk family started trading green coffee and tea. Since 1970 Bijdendijk is no longer owned by the Bijdendijk family but Bijdendijk became a well know name in the coffee industry, hence Bijdendijk has been kept as company name.
