β β β β β An ill-mannered old man who most likely is the manager stands behind the counter, he's fond of stating the obvious and will not let you shop in peace, continuously keeping tabs on browsing customers.
quite discourteous.
Wherever you are in the store when looking at their products, his eyes will inconspicuously follow..
A rather unpleasant experience to say the least, and as you might've guessed from this review, i wont be shopping here anymore.

β β β β β I find this Gall & Gall (roughly pronounced Hough'f & Hough'f) to be very good. It is defiantly tiny but they have most everything you need. The staff is very friendly even for tourists and English. They are near the fringe of a very touristy area, but more "locals" shop here than tourist (not that it matters).
They are very knowledgeable about their products, were patient with me asking questions and redeeming my coupons for wine glasses and actually pleasant and nice to talk with.
They take cash, debit cards and American debit (Visa, MasterCard)...YES!!!
Bring your own bag or pay a small fee for a plastic bag with a 100 year half-life.
