British Car Parts & Automobiles is voortgekomen uit familiebedrijf Könings en kan bogen op een zeer rijke historie aan de RIJKSWEG ZUID 4, te SITTARD.In 1919 richtte Jacques Könings het onderhouds/en reparatiebedrijf voor automobielen op. Later werd het off.FORD dealer voor Sittard en omstreken.
Bij de opsplitsing van FORD in Duits en Engels werd er voor ENGELS gekozen. Hier ligt dan het fundament voor de Engelse traditie op autogebied. In 1962 werd het een universeel-bedrijf met specialisatie in Engelse Ford.
Toen reeds waren ook de MG-s , AUSTIN HEALEY’s ,TRIUMPH en JAGUARS veel geziene werkplaatsklanten. Eigenaar Ger Könings,neef van oprichter Jacques, richtte in 1981 het huidige bedrijf op: BRITISH CAR PARTS & AUTOMOBILES.
Dit inmiddels zeer bekende bedrijf is voor veel autoliefhebbers een vraagbaak en onderdelen-toevlucht voor hun kostbare klassieker.

Een volledig RDW goedgekeurde werkplaats om uw kostbare klassieker APK te keuren is voorhanden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im not commenting about the car business that is run here but about the Airbnb that Get Konings runs in the flat above. earlier this year my son booked for a 4 night stay for 4 people for January next year. unfortunately, due to covid restrictions by the French and dutch governments we are no longer able to go. having to quarantine for 10 day on a 4 day trip just doesn't work. My son contacted Airbnb and was told that the have an Extenuating circumstances clause that means they won't refund our money as they state that the flat is still available to stay in. The fact that we are not allowed to travel won't be taken into account.
So my son contacted Herr Ger to ask him to cancel but was given an abrupt no in reply.
Fortunately His credit card company has taken up the fight and hopefully hey will refund us.
I find the attitude of both Airbnb (we have used them many times) and Herr Konings completely out of order in the current climate. I for one won't be using either for any future trips that I make.
As for Ger Konings, Konings by name and conning by nature.
The Dutch people have always made us welcomed but Herr Konings does them an injustice
